DPUK MR-PET Partnership Grant

The DPUK MR-PET Partnership consists of seven sites, three with the Siemens Biograph mMR (University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, University College London) and four with GE Signa PET/MR (University of Newcastle, University of Manchester, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London). The MRC funded Dementias Platform UK MR-PET Partnership grant has set up four working groups, each aligned to one of the core objectives of the grant. ​

Provide an effective communications framework within and beyond the network​

Training

Harmonisation

Prof Frederik Barkof (University College London) and Dr Julian Matthews (University of Manchester)

Regulatory

Prof Paul Matthews (Imperial College London) and Prof Joanna Wardlaw (University of Edinburgh)

Develop resources and facilitate training to meet the specific challenges and realise the advantages of MR-PET

Harmonise and optimise protocols for data acquisition, reconstruction, and analysis to maximally leverage the common investments and lower costs for all

Address regulatory requirements for radioligand manufacture, distribution and for multicentre experimental medicine studies utilising PET molecular imaging
