PET/MR for Allied Health Technologists is a live course, hosted twice a year, on the Mayo Clinic, Rochester campus. The course is designed to educate MRI and PET technologists working in or preparing to work in a PET/MR suite. Through classroom and hands-on lab experiences learners will be able to explore the world of PET/MR in a state of the art facility. Didactic lectures will primarily focus on Safety, PET/MR Physics and Instrumentation, Clinical Applications as well as Acquisition and Processing techniques. In addition, this coursework will be enhanced through observation of PET/MR acquisitions and hands-on participation in lab experiences created to explore the functionality of our Time-of-flight PET/MR scanner.
